Set against the back drop of Battersea Power Station, South London’s newest festival transformed a dreary SW concrete lot into the most colourful festival in the world.
Holi One Festival NEW to London and with several dates lined up for the UK this August, is a fun, colourful, and laid back festival celebrating ‘oneness’. Inspired by a religious Indian festival, but with NO religious affiliation to ANY faith in the UK, it’s a chilled way to enjoy European dance tracks and release the child in you, in a unpretentious and ‘powderful’ way. So there was no grass to sit on, spent a small fortune on refreshments, and struggled to pronounce some of the DJ’s names- that didn’t stop it being one of the most fun experiences I’ve ever had!
